"I had broken my DSI while trying to mod it with USB-C. It wouldn't turn on and only the red light would flash. I didn't know what exactly went wrong. I ended up buying 2 more devices to try working on it again and I ended up with the same result lol. I found PCG repair though and decided I'd be much better off asking someone else who is more familiar with the DSI internals than me to try and do the mod as well as maybe fix the other devices I did break. After messaging back and forth a bit he agreed to work on my devices. The process took maybe 2 months as there was a piece that needed to be re-ordered for one of my consoles. He was very communicative about the fact it may be a few weeks for the necessary part to arrive and about anything I have been unaware of about the consoles. He was quite nice throughout the entire process. He sent some pictures to me throughout the process to ensure everything was done to my liking. Once I did get the consoles back they seemed to work well but I quickly noticed that one of the consoles shoulder buttons and SD card was not working at all. I told him about the issue with the SD card reader and buttons. He then sent me a replacement device so I could install it. I was definitely a little nervous at first but after installing the replacement piece he sent. Everything started to work perfectly. It seems that the cable that was originally in the device had a rip in it that you could not see unless you completely removed the cable at first. Overall I'm very happy with the work he did on my consoles which included re-shelling, USB-C modding, and repairing/replacing whatever I accidentally damaged. I would definitely work with again in the future but I hope as well to not break anymore older consoles in the future."
